Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Jason F — 12 Nov 2008

Holy Crap! They actually made a decent film? Did I dream watching this?

First off the acting is far better than any of the other films and there's actually a story here. A FRIGGIN' STORY! I was crying with tears of joy at finally being able to enjoy one of these god-awful films. Second the gore is more intense and delicious than before and you actually care about the people dying (kind of... I still wanted them all to die).

Question... are we to believe Cory Feldman is the "new Jason", which seems fucking impossible since i'm pretty sure Jason is just randomly alive in the next one after being brutally murdered... whatever.

The 4th one ends on a creepy note that makes me want to watch the other... seven... all the more sooner.
