Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Kevin H — 11 Apr 2009
Actually a step up from the previous two sequels, The Final Chapter (yeah right) is a well paced horror film that picks up right where the third one leaves off, creating a trilogy of sorts between itself and Parts II and III.
Featuring some excellent performances from the cast of young actors, some manic dancing from Crispin "George McFly" Glover and some incredibly good effects from Tom Savini, this film packs a potent punch.
Of course the body count is high and the kills are great including an awesome corkscrew scene and Jason's death at the hands of Corey Feldman. This marks the end of the first period of the Friday franchise, but it would not be the last.
