Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Mr J — 21 Aug 2010
Of course this wasn't "The Final Chapter", but nevertheless, it's one of the highest points in the series. There's actually a pretty decent cast, which features future stars Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman in moments that helped define the movie (Crispin Glover's dance and the emergence of the Tommy Jarvis character).
Savini's gore effects are also pretty top notch here, and Jason just comes off better than in the previous films.
