Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by James O — 23 Jul 2011
Directed by Joe Zito (The Prowler, Invasion USA) and featuring the return of make-up FX guru Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Creepshow), The Final Chapter is an entertaining film for slasher fans. It seems to be the fan favorite of the series, and with good reason, but Part 6 remains my favorite.
The kills are really brutal, and the cast is good, with such names as Crispin Glover (Back to the Future) and Corey Feldman (The Goonies). Jason's death was great this really was a satisfying conclusion to the series.
But then there was 5.
