Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Andrew L — 02 Feb 2015
The Final Chapter, yeah right. So much done wrong, so little done right. The story goes that Jason (supposedly dead from the previous film) comes back alive and is on another killing spree and now is stalking a family and a bunch of teens near Crystal Lake.
The characters are uninteresting. Two people, in particular, Jimmy and Sara (Barbra Howard and Crispin Glover), were shy and lonely and the writers ruined a perfect chance to have them get together. They wasted a chance to have character development.
Tommy (Corey Feldmen) finally kills Jason and i'm being serious he actually does kill him and even over kills him possibly warping himself into a mass killer. This would've been fine if the series hadn't continued but as we all know, its never over.
