Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Eytan D — 06 Sep 2013
Parts 2 and 3 are highly enjoyable, but if I had to choose my favorite sequel in the franchise, it's "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter". Though it was far from the last one, I just love this sequel.
It never feels goofy, there's plenty of atmosphere, loads of creative kills, lots of nudity, a really likeable fresh crop of teens, and the memorable appearances of Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman.
Plus, Jason is more intimidating than ever before. "Final Chapter" is one of the best in the series, if not THE best, and its ending is a terrific and shocking fight to the death.
