Review of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984) by Dakota L — 18 Oct 2014
A strong return to form with Jason looking truly menacing and with a high body count, the kills are freakin awesome! This film marks the break-out debuts for both Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman, forever cementing it's 80s movie status and they're easily the strongest characters.
The film still manages to build suspense even while recycling the same formula, but I really am sick of this "final girl" bullshit, who's always able to thwart, Jason. Definitely one of the better entries in the franchise with tons of t+a, amazingly graphic kills (with Tom Savini back on-board), and a few characters you actually give a damn about!
