Review of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) by Kilo D — 14 Dec 2012
Everybody round up the cast of "Manhattan" because here comes Jason. He'll be there soon. I am sure of it. It didn't happen this time, although the old guy did land on some portion of NYC, namely its world renown back alleys and sewers.
And how does someone like Jason go from Camp Crystal Lake to a small segment-of-a-segment of NYC, not in coach I hope, no, no, it's by cruise ship and to have some fun on the trip over the big guy decides to knock off a woman rockin' out strapped to a distorted electric guitar (cordless, no amp) and a few others and before one can say, "Look out, New York, here comes Jason," the ride comes to an end with a song written and performed by Dirk Diggler and Chest Rockwell.
