A mass of stupidity that boggles the mind, Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan goes completely off the rails. Once again Jason is resurrected by electroshock, and then proceeds to hop aboard a party boat to kill a group of graduating high school seniors on their way to Manhattan.
The plot is terrible and makes no damn sense whatsoever. The directing is also extraordinarily bad, and isn't able to bring any suspense or terror to the film. Truly abysmal, Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan is painful to watch.
