Review of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) by Kevin H — 11 Apr 2009

Jason Takes Manhattan is utterly devoid of a plot as these films usually are, but unfortunately also falls short in several other areas which ultimately lead to it being recognized as possibly the worst film in the Friday franchise.

With actors who are totally out of place and one of the worst heroines in Jensen Daggett, this films performance's are below sub-par. Outside of the "boxing match" death and the sauna scene, even the kills are pretty lame.

Need I bother mentioning that the film is called Jason Takes Manhattan yet it spends almost an hour on a cruise ship? Very bad overall, I would avoid it if I didn't love punishing myself so much.
