Review of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) by Mark W — 08 May 2011

Oh my... I'd read on someone's review for a different film about needing to change the setting of the film and that it would make it better, this film is evidence to the contrary. Half of the film on a boat the other half in Manhattan.

Yeah its silly, the only way Jason should be able to get away with these murders is he's hidden deep in the woods, but strolling down the main streets of Manhattan with a machete in his hand you would think would create a stir, but people just don't seem to react.

I do believe this is one to watch just for the fun of seeing some more killing, but trust me don't get your hopes up and don't think the series will see an improvement.
