To be honest I believe the entire friday the 13th series to be dumb. Dumb but an absolute guilty pleasure. In an attempt to make this different from the majority of the series they throw in some dumb telekenetic subplot (after all jason killing damn teenagers is the real plot of these movies) with probably the dumbest ending in the entire series.
So all in all Dumb plus Dumb equals pure enjoyment.
