My absolute FAVORITE of the series, followed by Jason Goes To HEll. I own all of the F13 movies, & this is the one I watch the most. I've read a few ofthe reviews on this page & agree wit ha few that said that this could've been a Jason vs Carrie film.
And, I like that idea. It's from left-feild, but the idea of putting someone up against Mr. Voorhees that could give him a "fight" (that isnt a fellow Horror Icon) is something that I like about this movie.
Along with that fact, this movie gives us slasher fans what we expect out of an F13 film. Lots of great things came from this entrie; th first appearance of, IMHO, THE best Jason: Kane Hodder; The "look" that would, from this film on, be the blueprint of what Jason's appearance would be; AND, the most infamous kill in all slasher flicks: The Sleeping Bag kill.
Again, this is my favorite of all the F13 movies, & one that I watch at least once a week.
