Review of Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood (1988) by Ferdi A — 16 Feb 2015
Fun, entertaining and stuffed with well written characters. The direction this sequel took is very original and I liked the death scenes even though there was an obvious lack of gore. Kane Hodder makes for a frightening and human Jason Voorhees and I loved the performances of Lar Park Lincoln, Susan Blu, Susan Jennifer Sullivan and Diana Barrows.
This movie could've had a longer running time but I still thoroughly enjoyed this sequel. Highly recommend it to all slasher fans, one of my personal favorites of the Friday the 13th franchise that I could watch over and over without it getting old.
Tina makes for a bad-ass and interesting final girl and I loved the soundtrack, directing and the humor!
