Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Samantha — 20 May 2008
Basically the same formula as the previous two films, but this one downplays the creative, gruesome killings and actually tries to build some suspense. There are many shots that are clearly set up for the 3D effect (including a great one involving a flying eyeball) which give the movie a real campy charm.
The ending fizzled out and surprisingly did not leave the door open for another sequel.
