This is a lot like Part 2, except that it is cast in a "new" setting, is cheaper, less scary, more predictable, and less original (in Part 3, Jason shows up for the first time with the goaler's mask.

.. and that's about it). Continuity with previous movies is almost non-existent (except for Jason being there), the acting is bad, and the hippie couple and the bikers are totally useless.
