Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Patrick D — 06 Nov 2008

It's a hard 3 for it simply being a full on hoot without you having to stretch your imagination TOO far. Well not as far as the following films. Plus since this film was shot for 3-D you have some interesting cinematography to keep you entertained as anything that can logically fly at the camera does.

As a semi-SPOILER alert - which really isn't a spoiler at all, as you know the drill - the survivor girl kicks alot more Jason ass compared to the second, although is sort of a wet blanket (until the second) throughout the film. As well it really shows that's she's gone completely effing nuts from the ordeal.

You'll get what you want from the predictability, stock characters, gore and amazing score, there's is really not too much to say. You'll know if you you'll like it before you see it probably.

This is also the first of the series I'd seen back in my formality pre-teen years, hence there's a soft spot for it in my heart.
