Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Eric C — 22 Nov 2009
In 3-D, ok, like that has ever made a film better. In this case that still holds true, don't get me wrong I think this film is an alright edition to the franchise, but trying to add the 3-D aspect can only hurt the film.
By this time everyone knows the killer from the previous film is none other than Jason Voorhees, this time played grasciously by Richard Brooker, who is the last one to actually grunt in pain.
The deaths aren't as creative and seem to rely too much on in your face gags, due to the 3-D. The chase at the end is one of the weakest in the series and the films have started to feel the same.
I'm guessing that's why the next one was meant to be the last.
3 out of 5 stars.
