Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Mark S — 20 Oct 2010
Ok so in the 80's Hollywood has this huuuuge boner about making the 3rd movie in a film series 3D. Sounds sorta like today eh? It was dumb then. And dumb now.
Well Friday number 3 was said movie.
Minus like maybe 8 or 9 3D effects.. Why bother?
Still. #3 was the beginning of the inventive, sweet deaths. (i.e. The douche who decided that walking around on your hands who Jason machete'd down the middle.. I can't believe that chick banged him in the hammock before hand).
Also there was Jeffrey ross' dad or something that was at and fro'd. 1982's version of Seth Rogan, who was trying to bang a Mexican.. The food stamps joke at the deli mart was a chuckle. I guess it was proper to hate on mexicans back in the 80's.
The main character was cute. For 1982, that puts her around my mother's age now.. Kinda weird. But oh well.
Her and her boyfriend couldn't act worth a damn and it seemed at one point before the boyfriend got his head smashed by Jason, popping his eye towards the viewers, to narrate what was going on in the movie..
She gets away annnnnnnnd twissssssst. Just like the other 2.
