Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Bill B — 15 Jan 2015
Gave this a look for the 2nd time this evening, and I have to quote my initial thoughts: '...aside from the moment of Jason getting his iconic hockey mask, there's not a lot to recommend this film.' The kids are boring as hell, there's a group of bikers introduced to be nothing more than cannon fodder, and the film doesn't really take place all that close to Camp Crystal Lake, unless I managed to yawn through a plot point at some stage of the set-up.
The messed up thing is that I actually found the film growing on me with a re-watch, and I had to bump my score up slightly this time around.
Worth a look, very much of its time, which is part of the (growing) charm for me.
