Review of Friday the 13th Part III (1982) by Andrew H — 22 Feb 2015

I acquired this baby on 2/19/15 brand new (even included two pairs of 3D glasses) for $1.89-ish [also got "District 9" for the same price, new as well]. I tried watching it in 3D but unfortunately my normal glasses only let me get to the opening kill sequence.

Then I switched it to 2D, don't get me wrong, I would have liked to have seen 'Part 3' in that throwback red'n blue style but the popping out effects didn't seem that good. Who knows, if I ever get laser surgery, I'll be sure to watch this.

How does 'Part 3' hold up in the franchise? Different fans have different opinions; some love 'Part 4' and I actually don't (not as a whole but it does have its moments). Besides 'Jason Lives,' I think 'Part 3' is my next favorite movie of the franchise.

It's a typical but still enjoyable 80s horror flick--it's fun, check it out if you're a fan of Jason.
