Review of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) by Jeremy K — 23 Feb 2009
In some ways, this one's more entertaining than the first, but it doesn't keep you on your toes quite as much. Amy Steel does very well as the female lead, very spirited and driven. But the editing is a little strange, in my opinion, like how they keep the camera on one spot for a real long time even when nothing's happening.
Most of this film seems reminiscent, except Jason is introduced as the killer, so at least for that, it's worth a watch, and also because it still has that feel of realism.
