Review of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) by Ethan M — 18 Oct 2010

Jason makes his debut, kills some teenagers who inexplicably open a new summer camp across the old one from the first film, and...you figure out the rest. After seeing the moderately entertaining "1", there isn't much of a reason for anyone to see the sequels unless you're a fan of Jason or (in my case) have nothing better to do on a Tuesday night.

With that said, there's sex, some cool kill scenes, and a decently thrilling finale. Other than that, "Part 2" is BORING, and duller than a butter knife. I still maintain that with "Friday the 13th", the producers somehow managed to turn a series of porn with gore into a cultural phenomenon.
