Review of Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981) by Daniel M — 08 Nov 2008
Cheesy 80's slasher film at it's manic worst. The end of the last clunker, is actually the begining of this clunker. Then, the rest of the film is pretty much the same plot as the first. More campers arrive at the camp, eventhough they heared what happened last time, and they all get slaughtered by the pillow case wearing muderer jason.
The end, like the first ones, features an overlong chase scene between crazy killer, and scared victim. Once again, I've seen a movie where it feels like it goes on forever, when it's time length is only 86 minutes long.
And I still wonder why these films became such blockbusters. They're horribly made, with bad editing, and acting. Topped with poorly executed suspence scenes. They come off more as a parody for old slasher films, than they do actual slasher films.
Nothing more than mindless bullcrap.
