Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Azul S — 23 Sep 2012

Let me star off by saying that I'm not comparing this to the other movies completely. This is in fact its own movie and although it is a re-imaginable beginning to the series, you cant compare it to the original.

I'm not sure how to feel about this version of Jason, mainly because he has always been this sorta slow, deformed stalker type character and now he's this physically fit hunter type killer. Also, I do think that the creators sort of ruined the mystery of how Jason got from place to place so quickly.

Also the film seemed WAY to dark...other than that I actually enjoyed the film.
