Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Eoghan C — 24 Apr 2012
This does nothing but rehash the original and its sequels. The opening where it recaps the original is decent, the rest goes downhill fast. Marcus Niespel's direction suffers the same problems he had with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake. Having the writers behind Freddy Vs. Jason penning the script feels more like an after thought.
It's better to see the original and the sequels cause this reboot just got unlucky.
