It gotten right down to the business instead of waiting for 2 more movies like the old version. Everyone does not like it because it is not replaying every moment in the old version. One critiscism is that you have to watch the old series (which I am sure everyone has already done that) to know what is happening, for example if this wasnt a remake you would hardly know what happened to jason the only thing you would know is that a counselor killed his mother but you would have no idea that the mother was the real serial killer.

But I realy enjoyed the movie and I am sorry but I think it is better then the 1979 version.
