Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Nick P — 06 Oct 2012
Despite it's well-intention to be "original" and more "frightening" than its other predecessors, Friday the 13th is nothing more than the cliched, non-scary, rehashed, predictable, and non-stopping slasher remake film (which is bound to be horrible like the rest) that made many more disappointed.
The same rules, same non-creative kills, same thing ,nothing more than plot to make lots of money from slasher, Jason Voorhees-hungry fans who love the series much more than anybody does. The only difference between this movie and its previous predecessors is the ever so slightly melodrama that leads behind the reason why the main character was at Camp Crystal Flake in the first place.
