Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Josh R — 20 Jun 2013

This movie is one of the better horror remakes that I have seen. It takes all of the elements that made the first four Friday the 13th films good, and it mixes those elements together to make a pretty good slasher film.

This film tries to be serious with it's approach, but it still has all of the things that the Friday the 13th films would have had. They took the basic formula and they didn't deviate from it.

Kudos to the filmmakers for knowing their source material and delivering more of the same, which is exactly what I wanted.
