Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Ethan A — 31 Oct 2013

Instead of calling it "Friday the 13th part XII" (which they could have easily done), they dub the newest installment in this long running franchise a "remake". While certainly a better looking film, this highly unimaginative reboot is just more of the same.

The only way to enjoy it is if you had recently seen a worse installment (like 8 or 9), but if you legitimately were expecting a fresh take on a dead franchise...sorry to disappoint ya.
