Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Bill B — 28 Jan 2016

A watchable but relatively pointless re-make that yadda yaddas over the plots of basically the first 3 of the original films. There's some okay kills and a nice smattering of nudity, but it ultimately ends up adding nothing of any particular note to the series. Maybe if this is your gateway drug into the world of horror at a younger age you'll see this with different eyes than I do, but this is still rather middle of the road in spite of being pretty watchable.

Worth a rental if you're curious, but I doubt it'll become anyone's new favorite film unless they're completely new to the genre.
