Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Strangerina — 30 Jun 2014
This movie would have fared much better in my book if it took more from the original Friday the 13th film where Jason Voorhees was more of a downplayed character, and was portrayed as a psychological bogeyman, rather than an invincible deadite.
But, alas, this film wants to please the crowd by bringing the legendary slasher villain to the 21st century, and this it certainly did, although they forgot to bring anything fresh to the table.
