Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Nick M — 21 May 2012
The reboot to the Friday the 13th is entertaining, at most times, but it is nowhere great. It can be a little boring at times and the acting is nothing to write home about. Plus, there was hardly anything scary about this movie.
On the other hand, there are some great chase and kill scenes in this movie. This is especially true at the beginning which is one of the best starts to a horror/slasher movie I've seen in awhile.
I also quite enjoyed this version of Jason. How they made his more brutal and more menacing.
