Review of Friday the 13th (2009) by Jacob A — 04 Feb 2012

This movie does exactly what it's supposed to. It's better than the lackluster original in almost every way, it doesn't take itself completely seriously by adding in quite a few comedic bits, it has undeniable suspense and great jump-out-of-your-seat moments, covers a huge range of material with decent acting, and is undoubtedly one of the best slasher remakes of the current trend.

An entertaining horror movie to watch with a group of friends!
