Review of Friday Night Lights (2004) by Rasi J — 17 May 2009
Solid sports movie. Unfortunately, this movie came out AFTER "Varsity Blues." It's a similiar story with the MTV influence replaced by a more realistic drama that's based on the actual team from 1988.
From what I've read, there are quite a few liberties that were taken with the story, but it's still an enjoyable movie.
