Review of Friday Night Lights (2004) by Brenna C — 28 May 2012

I don't believe that this movie is simply just about football, but its also about the pressure put on the kids who play the game. Finally a sports movie with lots of heart and lots of force behind it that it actually realistic.

While Peter Burg has primarily directed action films I believe that this was a pleasent change of pace. Surprisingly Tim McGraw shines in this movie along with Billy Bob Thornton and Derek Luke, who I believe both delivered the best performances of their careers.
