Review of Friday Night Lights (2004) by Doug Z — 16 Nov 2012

A story well told, a story about character where you almost wish you saw more football, but then you remember that it would then be just an other sport movie. Don't worry though, there's enough play to tell the tale of a whole season well and get your blood pumping.

Acting is excellent, action is plentiful, and you get an excellent feel for all the characters. Get a seat, and get ready for good soulful gripping entertainment. It might be missing a bit of glitz, but then, it would be what it is, or as good.

See it, and if you're a football fan, it's a must.
