What an uninteresting, cliche "toughness and vicissitudes" football movie. I can't call it unrealistic, but I can call it bland and very much like any other movie about a sports team. it was not even saved by good football sequences.
perhaps i've just watched too many sporting movies in the last few days; maybe there's a little something here above and beyond the totally cliche sports messages about the human condition, but not much.
