Debut feature from F. Gary Gray is an excellent stoner comedy. Two friends have to come up with $200 to pay back a drug dealer or they will be killed. Most people find Christ Tucker annoying but I thought he was hillarious in this, John Witherspoon is priceless as Ice Cube's father but it is Anthony Johnson who steals every scene as crack head Ezal.
A quality soundtrack with Dr. Dre, Cypress Hill, Curtis Mayfield and The Temptations. Also creamed the togs when Kathleen Bradley Overton is watering her front garden.
