Most movie collections that contain comedies featuring mostly urban cast would be incomplete without this movie. The 'Casablanca' of stoner comedies, it's humor has the universal appeal, no matter who the audience is.
While Ice Cube is the character focus of the movie, it would remiss of me to not acknowledge the comedic performances of Chris Tucker and John Witherspoon. And actor Tommy 'Tiny' Lister also deserves credit for making a character who so intimidating, his name refers to when someone gets punked out.
Make no mistake: this is a classic.
