It's really refreshing to see a comedy about South Central that isn't doom and gloom (Although movies like Boyz N the Hood are great).
Ice Cube delivers a great comedic perspective on a day in South Central that is well acted,written,and directed. Chris Tucker is perfect as the pot dealing Smokey, John Witherspoon as the old schooled dog catching dad, and Ice Cube as (which was a suprise in the 90's) the comedic star. This works well and while crude at times actually delivers a good message about standing up for what you believe in.
