Review of Frida (2002) by Lindsay T — 12 Apr 2008
A daringly told story of a take-no-prisoners life, that manages to be emotionally direct, sparse in its pace and storytelling, and yet Taymor's direction is artistically confident enough to trust in its more creative sequences.
Hayek and Molina both gave incredible performances and had sweat-inducing chemistry.
