Review of Frida (2002) by John S — 07 Oct 2009
A remarkably flat movie. the acting was gripping but the film itself felt heartless and removed. I was not captivated for much of it, yet I still found moments that were beautifully done. it adds nothing new to the biopic genre, but it does go into sometimes lengthy "artsy" sequences that just dont fit in the context of the story being told.
