Review of Frida (2002) by Dr. A — 27 Jul 2010
Love, pain, sorrow, need, lust, and creativity surround the life of Frida Kahlo, a famous female painter. Salma Hayek, Alfred Molina, Valeria Golino, Mia Maestro, Roger Rees, and Diego Luna carry the emotional struggles and victories in Frida's life wonderfully.
The script and direction stunned me. They were both exceptionally well done. Though not my favorite film, Frida has a beauty and geniune quality many movies lack and need.
