Review of Frida (2002) by Fazley A — 16 Oct 2011
A great portrayal on the biography of one of the greatest female artist of all-time.."FRIDA''... Crippled by a terrible accident at a very tender age but she was born to be artist. But the reason I loved this movie is it not only portrayed her as a spirited and fighter painter but also the true and harsh facts of her life she had to deal till her death.
She and her great painter husband 'Diego Rivera' putting aside some carnal aspects did some extra ordinary chemistry throughout whole life, although it was tempestuous. And the very direction was a bit of 'Indie' form which would give u different taste than Hollywood.
Winner of 2 Oscars, I must add.
