Review of Frida (2002) by Chris S — 24 Jun 2008
The film is about Frida, an amazingly talented and liberated artist, which focuses more on her relationships, her bisexual tendencies and her life dedicated to art and politics. Director Julie Taymor, an amazing and creative filmmaker, fills this biographical film with appealing colors, eccentricities, style and substance.
The music is quite good too. I am not a fan of Salma Hayek but I love her presence and performance on this film.
