Review of Frida (2002) by Lori E — 24 Jun 2010
This fantastic film gives us real insight into the actual artist by showing her strength as well as her vulnerability. Like Frida's paintings, the film conflates reality surrealism in order to show us how the character feels.
It also shows the complexity of the relationship between Frida Kahlo and her husband, Diego Rivera. I highly recommend this film.
