It was a decent movie! Passable. Another review said it really well; Sebastian Stan was like a Bateman in this movie. It was clear that they were shooting for that appeal, of a psychopath having way too much fun. Envision the scene where he is talking about Huey Lewis and the News, and that was a big portion of his personality in the movie.

I liked the quick start and unexpected mid movie, end intro credit roll, it was intriguing.

The movie was a bit overly linear, and for being linear, I think it failed by involving the bartender. It's clearly another movie intended to be empowering to women, and there's nothing wrong with it, but it was a misstep to remove any element of male help in service of that.

In other words, don't have Mollie drop her location to him, have him keep checking his phone, then drive all the way to the house, only to get cold feet at the last moment, because then he has been a useless plot device. If the feminist angle was the prize, then keep him sidelined as just someone who got Mollie Sebastian's information and have that be that.

Beyond that, Daisy was gorgeous and her revenge on Sebastian was hilarious and fantastic and justifiably in the moment. It was good to see the women get out. It was disappointing how shoehorned Molly was into the finality of the movie. Meaning, she went from being captured, to then being let out, with no surprise on Daisy's part and no other substance derived from her capture aside from a short surgery. There could have been more done from that. The same could be said with Ana, she was another tendril left unevolved, and also cutting off Daisy's butt was lazy and inopportune. It was done so that they wouldnt have to work with props and to minimize the effect on her visual appeal, like Penny or Ana, but it was so obvious that basically by the end Daisy had no effects from it. It's not a good look that the only clue we have that she is missing her rear is her awkwardly holding her side hip.

Anyways, still entertaining, and a decent movie. I'd lean more towards a 6, but it is such a toss up (like a 6.5) that the fun aspect to it due to the comedic relief moments is enough to say "why not" and give it a 7.
