I remember seeing the trailer way back and like alot of ppl thinking "wow, hitchikers guide with a Shaun of the dead new British twist type thing" I think the allegiance to hitchikers should be ignored because it is totally different in style and content.

It often seems like the majority of the story is set in a pub because the budget didn't cover anything more extravagant, but that's probably more down to the fact it's a pub, full stop.

I loved this film, it did seem like a Xmas TV special but that didn't stop it being genuinely good. my favourite line is probably "oh, yeah. everyone from the future is American".
