I throughly enjoyed this very British attempt at dealing with Time Travel. The comparisons with 'Shaun Of the Dead' certainly work in respect that this is a very British production with very British humour and sensibilities. Where the comparisons fall down is that 'Shaun of the Dead' manages to be cinematic enough to come across on the big screen and beats Hollywood at it's own game, this film did not trancend television. In fact I happened upon this rather than setting out to watch it and wondered if it was the pilot for a new BBC TV programme. That said I was well taken with this. I'm not an IT crowd fan but I thought that Chris O'Dowd did a very good job at the centre of this charming little film.
Was it me or was the pub at the centre of this the same one used in Shaun of the Dead?...i checked IMDB and it doesn't clarify either way. Can anybody else help?
